We all know trade shows are tiring and hard on your feet, shoulders and back. With so much to do in a few short hours, it’s tempting to dress casual and just be comfortable. But to some people, comfortable borders on sloppy and unprofessional. When you’re attending a trade show, dress like the professional you are. Vendors are likely to treat you better, and perhaps even work with you more if your appearance says that you are there for business. That doesn’t mean you need to wear uncomfortable shoes and straight-laced suits, but do dress better than you would if you were going to a family picnic or out to the ballpark.
